BelliBand

Safe births, beginning with safe insight: our breakthrough labor monitoring device

Our Revolutionary, Wireless, Real-Time Patient Monitoring Medical Technology allows collaboration of expecting parents and healthcare members as a team.

Advanced technology provides peace of mind for expecting parents and healthcare teams - from conception to delivery, you're in safe hands.

Real-time accurate data collection provides optimal virtual care and allows expecting mothers the ease of flexibility and comfort for a more enjoyable experience throughout their journey.

Enhancing Maternal Care Through Real-Time Monitoring and Virtual Support

BelliBand is worn during bedrest restrictions. It provides the healthcare team real-time data of the fetal heart rate. If the expecting mother is non-compliant with bedrest orders, a virtual nurse will communicate and document actions taken to encourage the importance of complying with doctors’ orders. A vital effort not only for mother and baby – this relieves the healthcare team of any liability due to false claims should problems of non-compliance arise.

During a home birth, the midwife is able to access data collected while the patient wears the BelliBand and ensures necessary care is given for a safe outcome. If an emergency should arise, local pharmacy and emergency services are alerted to deliver medications or emergency transport if necessary. This prevents delays in obtaining emergency care for a safe outcome for both the mother and the fetus.

Seamless Monitoring and Enhanced Patient Safety in Hospital Deliveries

During a hospital delivery, the expecting mother wears the BelliBand. Fetal heart rate and contractions – along with the mother’s vital signs – are collected while the mother is free to ambulate in the unit or use the restroom, without losing real-time data.

At times, vital information about a patient’s health condition is overlooked while giving the report between nursing staff, so we have designed visual Colored Diode Indicators that light up with corresponding health conditions requiring special attention so nursing staff are aware and provide the necessary measures or medications for a safe and healthy outcome.

Colored light indicators for specific health conditions for which special care is required, protective film over the ultrasound gel over the embedded camera for which the provider may obtain visuals of the fetus if needed without requiring a visit from the radiology team which is also available to the relatives as well.

Mother and baby will have their own unique code identifier available on the app to avoid errors, in the case of multiples, the 6 sensors available will document baby’s heart rate separately

Binder’s internal lithium battery is fully charged to last up to 8-10 hours.  Binder is reusable after thorough cleaning provided by hospital staff.

Our Features

MATERIAL AND STRAPS

A comfortable biopolymer abdominal binder with adjustable straps allows the binder to conform to pregnant bellies of all shapes and sizes without the need for constant re-adjustment.

ONBOARD USER APP

The best part for parents and relatives is that they are able to download the app and view the labor progress in real time until delivery, enabling them to hear the baby's heart beat and keep it forever as a keepsake.

Revolutionizing Pregnancy Monitoring and Patient Care

A never-before-seen small window above the Colored Diodes indicates the exact time when membranes rupture, with no guessing involved.

Doctors have full access to view the fetus via an ultrasound camera embedded in the BelliBand, and a film with ultrasound gel is covered over the camera and removed to expose the ultrasound gel when placing the BelliBand on the pregnant belly. There are NO delays in placing an order for radiology to send a technician to the patient’s bedside – this avoids any delays in providing optimal patient care.

Keep You Confident & Healthy Until The Day Comes

Overall, this new way of monitoring patients in active labor replaces the outdated fetal monitoring device where fetal strips may get lost or damaged containing vital information, should liability be a concern.

A winning outcome not just for parents and healthcare team members, but most importantly, for a healthy baby.
